We are trying to trace a Richard Smith who was married to Phebe Rigby and had a son William Smith who was born in 1864 at 9 New Street, New Village, Bilston Wolverhampton. Richard Smith was a Coal miner and was alive in 1890 when William Smith married Hannah (Annie) Biggs of Willenhall Wolverhampton at Ibstock Church, Leicestershire. William and Hannah had several children including Thomas, Alice, Samuel, Ethel, Annie, Sarah and Ellen, William, Edna and Nell.
