Trying to find Smith

I have traced my great grand parents RUTH (nee Smith) and ALEXANDER SMITH. They would have been born around the turn of the century, 1900 time, and they lived in BUCKIE, MORAY in Scotland. Although it seems there were many Smiths living in Buckie through FreeBMD, there is not one mention of any Smiths from Buckie on these message boards! So I wonder if anybody else descends from the Smiths of Buckie and if they could help me expand my family tree? All I know is that my great grandparents married and had childre, one named ANDREW SMITH, my grandfather who now lives in Waltham, with his wife MARY (nee Beardall.) I believe Ruth and Alexander had other children, I remember being told that one daughter died of leukemia when she was just 13. If anybody can help me at all please let me know! Thankyou, Holly.
