CALLING AUSTRALIA emigrees 1920's - trying to find relatives in Oz that have Smith Ancestors from West Cumberland in their tree. Gt Aunts Annie and Rebecca emigrated to Australia but I don't know the names of their husbands. One was called Con and was an Australian. I believe that both sisters went to Australia and settled near to Sydney. I remeber Aunt Annie visiting England in about 1978 to see her brother John. I also recollect that there was a Lucy somewhere in the family, probably born in the late 1930's. any connections please do contact me. cheers Trish |
