Have tried this before but hit a brick wall. Thought i would try again. I am trying to find my paternal Grandfathers relatives. Sydney Jospeh Smith or even Sydney smith,Lived in sheffield in1922 at 148 edward Street where ma father Sydney smith was born. He married Gertrude Pass also living at EDward Street. cant find any information at all on my grandfather, even when alive he didnt tell us anything about his family. My father was the only child to Sydney and Gretrude after the war they moved to Arbourthorne Road in Sheffield. My Grandfather was a railway plate layer. Any info at all would be great and would loveto find out where he was born, dont know if he had and brothers or sisters . couldnt even find him on the 1901 cencus. Please help as i dont want to go grey again as if i dye my hair any more i think it will fall out. |
