Helen Beard. To Cheryl Singleton, not sure if you received my message, it seems that your great grandmother Lillian was my grandfather Charles younger sister. I still haven't found out any more about their father Frances J Chapman as I have been a bit busy, I do know his mothers name was Mary and he used to conduct the orchestra in the music hall, one of the brothers his son I think Frances Jr was a comedian and also Harold was a harpist and he travelled all over Europe with Geraldo's Band he married a ballerina who was called Winifred, their uncle was an artist and had paintings in the Royal Acadamy I don't know if there will still be records there. Cheryl I live in the North West of Western Australia where do your relatives live? Look forward to hearing from you. |
