Member Since: September 2003 Posts: 3 Send Message	Help, anyone working on the Smith's tree. I am trying to find my grandfather Arthur Smith.( born in 1866 or 1867 ). He's in the 1881 census in Knottingley, but can't find him before then so I haven't a clue where he was born. He married Amelia Shaw in 1890 in Knottingley and his Father was Henry Smith his Mother was Hannah Shaw. Arthur and Amelia went on to have 9 children, the youngest 7 were born in Huddersfield Any one got any ideas how I can find out where he was born, cos Smith is a terrible name to find there are so many.
