FAO Liz Devonald Williams (Born 1952, in Swansea, member number 1804977) Liz - Do you have ancestors called:- Hugh Devonald Williams (born 1922) William Devonald Williams (born 1889) Henry Devonald Williams (I don't know when he was born, but my guess would be the mid 19th century) Then I would like to hear from you. If you have the above ancestors, then you could be a distand relation of me. I'm asking because my full name is Steven Devonald Williams (born 1979 in Carmarthen) and my Father is Andrew Devonald Williams (Hugh's eldest son, born 1955 in Carmarthen). My grandfather Hugh was with the Royal Marines in World War II. My father told me that he took part in the D-Day landings in 1944. I know in the 1980s he worked in the railway signal box in Carmarthen. I don't know how long he worked there though. And also, he was a railway enthusiast, just like my father.
