ALBERT JOHN JONES. Seeking information and decendants of my great grandfather, Albert. In 1913 he was living at EVANS TERRACE, DUKESTOWN, TREDEGAR with his wife, ROSANNAH JANE JONES (nee Gurmin). They had 5 children: ELIZABETH MAUD OLWEN ROSE GEORGE DAISY RICHARD LLEWELYN In about 1920, Rosannah left Albert and she and the children ended up in the Bedwellty Workhouse. Albert was father to another child by another woman and it was him bringing the woman home to live with his family that prompted Rosannah to leave (thats the story I have). I do not know the name of the woman or what sex the child turned out to be. Albert was a miner in Tredegar at the time. If you have any info at all please get in touch. Thankyou. |
