Hi Val
I am also a descent of James Watt - inventor accoring to Sir Robert Watson-Watt, inventor of Radar, my great uncle. I can get back as far as my gg grandprents William Watt born Brechin, Angus Scotland 1815 married Isabella Watson born 1814 both buried in Brechin cemetery. The had 2 sons William Watson-Watt (my line) & Patrick Watson-Watt (Sir Rob's line).
Can you help with the data further back to James.
Thanks Pat George nee Watt

Hello again Any one help me with my tree please. I, like many other's I'm sure, on this thread, am related somewhere along the line to James Watt (inventor) Uncle x? Is anyone able to delve any deeper than my 6th generation Grandparents, Alexander Watt born 1778 in Dundee Angus, his wife was Jane Farquharson. I need to get as far back as my Uncle James born in 1736. I need your help please!!! I'm sure their will be others, looking on here, who could do with some of this information. I'm keeping fingers and toes crossed!! Val
