Hi! I am trying to find the family of my long lost uncle - DAVID CECIL JONES. He was called CECIL and he married FLORENCE ADA MYERS in1927 in BRIGEND and their first child was AUDREY LORRAINE JONES who was born in SALFORD MANCHESTER IN 1928.Their address at that time was 41 CHURCH STREET, PENDLETON, SALFORD. CECIL'S parents were DAVID AND CATHERINE JONES. David was a coalminer & lived in PONTYCYMMER, GLAMORGAN. They had 2 other children - JOHN WILLIAMS JONES AND ELIZABETH ANN JONES(MY MOTHER). They all emigrated to SOUTH AFRICA IN 1920/21 but CECIL stayed behind. I have a few photo postcards that CECIL sent to his parents in S. AFRICA in the 1920's,but, nothing after that. It seems that they lost touch with him. Does anyone out there have any links to this family???
