Hello again, Colin,
I dont know if I told you but Sid's father Robert died in 1938, I think in Romford Hospital, and his mother, Ethel died in the summer of 1953 in Hackney Hosopital. She had been on a day (coach) trip to Hastings, had eaten some shell fish from a stall, and felt fine until a short while after she returned home. She was taken to the nearest hospital, Hackney, but they hadnt the proper facilities and wanted to send her on to one of the others nearby. However, she was having such a serious bilious attack that they kept her in overnight and would transfer her next morning. Bill lived nearest so he and Mollie were sent for and saw her for a while but she was sedated to stop the vomitting. She died about 6 am next morning. She was a tiny little lady, so probably hadnt the physical resources to fight the infection. Shellfish off stalls - not the healthiest foods to eat !

I am trying to find any Hepdens that are related to, or are descendants of Robert Hepden & Ethel Hepden (Muskett), my Father-in-law was Sidney Charles Hepden, he was born in 1919 at Charles Street Stepney, East London, he had 6 Brothers these were Harry, Wiliam, Len, Edward, John & Fred, he also had 1 sister her name was Ethel, we are trying to find anyone who may be related, but we are also trying to find out what happened to Robert & Ethel, and when they died, and where they are buried? any help that anyone can give would be greatfully received, and who knows we may have information to fill in slots in your enquires. Colin.
