Hello, Im looking for any information on my paternal gr gnd parents John and Mary Turner (nee Marriott) both born approx late 1870s in the Long Eaton area they had 8 children the youngest being my paternal grandma still alive born April 22 1914 the oldest child was Jack. He became a succesful owner or director of the lace manufacturing business in the Nottingham area and he married Gladys they have 4 children who are Sheila, Keith, Anne and Vivian the latter two are twins, Vivian bacame a magistrate these four children would have been born in the 30s the second son to John and Mary was Percival who married Ada they had no children he served in the WW1 as a batman for a doctor and was awarded the Military Medal and Bar for rescuing injured soldiers from No Mans Land. The other children were as follows: Sally (died as an infant) Fred born 1900 married Winnie, died approx 1950 of luekemia Hilda (married Joe Blackmore and they were bakers in Grantham their children are Barbara, Dorithy, and Colin Sid (married Elsie, sister of Joe Blackmore and they have a son named Peter he would have been born in 1937 and he worked for British Railways, Sid and Elsie both died in North Wales Len died as a teenager This information I recieved from my Father Michael Kerry the oldest child of Marjorie Kerry (nee Turner) her yongest child is my Aunt Janet born in 1940. It is my Dads greatest wish to regain contact with any of his cousins. We now live in British Columbia, Canada but there are frequent visits back home
