MORRIS / OWENS I am Christine Dillon nee Morris. I am looking for any family members, or help to find any family members of my dad Alfred Morris, born 25/01/1900 in Church Stretton, Shropshire. After the first world war he moved to Stone, Stafford where he married and had 2 sons Derek and John. His first wife died. My dad re-married in September 1948. His second wife was my mum, Catherine Owens (she was born in 28/01/1925 in Bagillt, Holywell, North Wales). My dad was an amateur football player and later became a referee. He worked in a glass factory in Stone and later worked for Lotus shoes as a commissioner. Any information would be very much appreciated. Many thanks Christine. |
