I am researching my mothers family tree. We have just discovered her grandmother's maiden name. She was JANE ANN LEE born c1860 in Byers Green, Co.Durham. Jane's parents were GEORGE LEE,born in Manchester, and her mother was JANE LEE, born in Durham. According to the 1871 census, it shows that Jane Ann had a sister Elizabeth, born c1864 and a brother John George, born c1866. George senior was a coalminer and they lived in Durham, if anyone can help, please contact me. |
