Find Ancestors

I am trying to build up my family tree on the Coopers. My Grandad, Alfred Edward Cooper, was born in March 1872 in Mile End Town, Middx. His father was also Alfred Edward (or Edward) Cooper and he was a Police Constable who married an Eliza Wall. Family legend has it that Eliza was a Squire's daughter and she married the local policeman against her father's wishes! Other than that I know nothing about either of them. My Grandad married Sarah Ann Alice Brading in 1891 at Bethnal Green, Middx. My Gran & Grandad, in the latter years of their lives, lived in Burnt Oak, Middx. They had seven children; Alice Ada; Alfred William; Edward William; Robert; Rosetta Elizabeth, born 1902; George, born 1906, who went to China around 1928/29 and has never been heard of since; Arthur William, my dad, born 1908 and died 1971; and Elsie May, born 1910 and died 2002. I have no contact with any members of the families my dad's siblings may have had and I would like to know more about my Great Grandparents if anyone else has any information.
