Hi Nicole. I have a George Hackney (b. circa 1841) in my family tree. He was born in Bredbury in Cheshire. Would your George have been born around this time? |

hello all. trying to trace my paternal family line. starts with florence machin. she married and her name changed to hackney, not sure of his name.her son, my grandad was GEORGE WILLIAM HACKNEY, he married florence goddard and they went onto have 10 children. they always lived in the manchester cheshire areas, settling in cheadle hulme, although george did live in belgium briefly. i think he would have been born in the twenties or thirties. grateful for any help..... |
