Hi Mark...not sure if I have any connection or not. But, my Mother was a Langley and I have got back to my great grandfather, Alexander Langley born 1874 in borough of West Ham. He was a tram conductor in that area.. In fact, all the Langleys on my side were in and around West Ham , Bethnal Green and Forest Gate areas. Alex. married Selina Blayney and had 4 children, one of which was my Grandfather, George Henry Langley, born 21June 1896. He died youg, at around age of 26 .I have lots of info on these people, but nothing about Alexander's parents or siblings. Given that your line were around West Ham area , do you think there might be a connection?? Does any of the above ring any bells?? Cheers. Trish |
