Trying to trace the family of DAVID HENRY DAVIES (1909-1955). He was born just outside Ammanford - his parents names were Henry Davies (known as Harry) and Hannah Rees. He was one of five(?) children, he had one younger brother called Robert (Bob) who used to deliver bread in Ammanford from the 1940's to the 1970's. Another brother was called Will and he had two sisters. David moved to fishguard where he lived with his wife ANNIE MAY LEWIS and their only son DAVID HUW GARETH DAVIES (b.1939 - known as Gareth). During the thirties and forties David played the tuba for Ammanford Town Silver Band. I think the whole family were musical. David died in 1955 at Haverfordwest Hospital. If anyone has any info please get in touch Patricia.
