My grandfather was Mosely Maxfield Maughan born 1874 or 1875 to Thomas and Elizabeth Maughan Nee Preston. Thomas was the son of Edward and Maria Maughan and had an elder brother Moses b Kelloe 1838 according to the 1851 Census HO107/2391 f 244 p34. The unususal name suggests a relationship. |

My GGGrandfather was Mosley Maughan,born 1838 at Wolsingham,Co.Durham. His parents were John Maughan and Jane Gard(e)ner.If anyone is a relative of Mosley I would like to hear from you. |
