Looking for any info. on my paternal grandmother, Gertrude Chapman, nee Weston. Born c1890 probably in Islington or surrounding areas. Also my grandfather, her husband, who was possibly William/Bill Chapman. My father's name was Sidney George Chapman and he was born in 1917-almost certainly in Islington. Some of my father's siblings :- 'Pom' Chapman, Annie Chapman, Kenny Chapman, Peggy Chapman. My father Sidney Chapman married my mother, Evelyn Peers ( originally from Grimsby) in Islington in 1939. They continued to live in Islington before moving to St. Mary Cray in Kent. The first of several moves. Any information at all about this branch of my family would be very welcome indeed and much appreciated. - Many thanks for reading this and good luck with your searches & reunions!- Nick
