William King was a "coachmaker" in Limehouse in the early 19th Century. His son, Thomas King married Jane Hayward, who's father was a brewer also in Limehouse. Thomas had a son, Clement King (married Harriet West) and Clement had a son, Henry THomas King (married Alice Shirling Rooke). Henry Thomas and Alice were my grandparents. I have discovered much about the King family (always living in East London and Essex) but am still trying to find out more about William King. I would like to know from whence he came and did he have any more children amd descendents to whom I may be distantly related. Thank you Linda |
