hi ,im tracing my mothers family (well trying)lol.they are chapmans i think they lived around grimsby and lincolnshire area,she also has relatives in wales .my mums name is anne dulcie davies maiden name chapman her fathers name was alfred james,we believe he was born on tudor street in abergavenny south wales ,his mother and father were james and lily chapman they lived in number 74 tudor street abergavenny we think.her mother was anne katherine chapman(maiden name hannah).i know they lived in wales 4 a while then moved 2 grimsby area dont know if they had relations up there or if my grandmother was from there i know i have aunts and uncles up that way,but not if it goes back any farther than their generation if anyone can help that would be great ,much appreciated,chris |
