Trying to find out what became of my grandmother's siblings. Her name was Florence, and she was born about 1925 in Bradford or Leeds. She married a Roland Kay in 1945. She had an older (half?) brother called Harry, and younger siblings Bill (born about 1926?), Ann (1927/8?), Walter, Lily and Gilbert (about 1942/3). Lily seems to have just disappeared, and Gilbert was last known to have been a comedian (he visited when I was very little, and scared the life out of me! Shaved head, pulling faces...!) Anyway, I know very little about this branch of the family, except that they all seem to have been in a hurry to get away from their Catholic mother who seems to have scared them all. Don't want to disrupt their lives or anything, just curious about what happened to them (and any offspring?). All help appreciated, Vicky |
