My Mothers side of the family where called Parke they came from Dungivan.

My mothers name was Alice Davidson Parke she had a sisters called Mary,& Lily and brothers called Robert, Edward, William.

Hi Fred, As we know my father Herbert Watson Parke was your mothers brother.
For Sandra My mothers surname was Parke before she married my father. Her family came from Londonderry area of Waterside in parish of Glendermott. One of my Mothers people was born in the donegal area. His birth is registered in Raphoe distric of Strabane in DonegalHis name was Joseph Blackburn Parke, His father was Joseph parke from St Johnston, he was a Boatman. his wife was Sarah Parke nee Nixon he was born 15th Nov 1870. don't know if theres a connection as there seems to be a lot of Parke's.
