JACK WILLIAMS (JOHN) I am trying to find details of my uncle's (and godfather's) family in Australia so I can complete my family tree. He is John Smith Williams known as Jack. Born 12th August 1919 at 16 Eastborne Road, Aintree, Liverpool. Son of Samuel Thomas Williams, master mariner and Mary Alice Williams (nee Smith), brother to Margaret (Babs), Mary Alice (Alice), Esther, Thomas (Tom) and Charles (Charlie). Served with Charles (my father) in the Royal Artillery during WW2. Emigrated to Australia after WW2. He rang to congratulate my auntie Esther on her marriage in the 1970's but we have never met as he went to Australia shortly before my birth. I have a complete family tree for the Williams family but lack the Australian connection and would love to know more, so please get in touch. Any information gratefully received. Thank you Lyn.
