Hi I'm trying to find information on my great-grandfather. David James Christmas Thomas, he was born in 1892 and died in 1934. He was married to Dorothy Alice (Oakley) in 1917. They married in Winchester. In 1917 he was a Sergent in 318th(HS) works Co, based at the Morn Hill Camp near Winchester. They had two sons, David known as Jack and Charles. I know his father was John Thomas and he was a school teacher. After leaving the army he worked at Baldwins Steel works in Port Talbot, any help would be appreciated. |
