does any one know where the hill family from old monkland scotland went after 1861 .the 1861 census reads , charles hill aged 40 born dunfermline fife john hill 15, born old monkland glasgow. margaret hill 12 born oldmonkland glasgow robert hill 11 born old monkland glasgow christine hill 7 born old monkland glasgow helen 5 born old monkland glasgow william hill 3 born old monkland glasgow charles hill married margaret jaffery 30 th nov 1845 in old monkland glasgow.She is not on the 1861 census but i cant find any death records for her .was she just not at that addres at the time census was taken or had she died before 1861 . william hill moved to northumberland and is on the 1901 census married with 7 children but can t find any records of any other of the hill family , any one out there got any idea s. |
