I am trying to find out any information on Violet Margaret Winifred (nee Davies) b abt 1919 Alresford (not sure if that was in Essex or Hampshire?). She married twice, but when she married her first Ernest George Kimber in Tollerporcorum, nr Dorchester, Dorset their marriage certificate showed that her address was Bridport Hospital, Dorset. Under occupation there was just a line. They would have married in 1942/43. Does anyone have any idea of what Bridport hospital was being used as at that period of time Please? I thought perhaps a nurse, by why did she not put that down under occupation? If she were a patient, I wouldn't have thought she would have put that down as an address. Please any ideas would be gratefully rec'd. kindest regards Karen |
