Still looking for anything on Albert John Williams after 1903 born 1875 inAberdare Glam.36-38 Commercial St. father John Williams b.1849 Pontypool. mother Charlotte(pritchard) b.Corsham ,Wiltshire .John was a prominent figure in Aberdare ,he ran an American style hairdressing salon ,had his brother in law with him in 1881 ,who later had a hairdressers shop in Merthyr. Albert used to show Welsh terriers we have a cup he won in 1922, he strangly joined the army in 1916 aged 41 ,was in the Lancashire Fusiliers,we have his number but no records were found at Kew. Sisters .Nora, Lottie, brother Trevor who was in the marines. Please get in touch if any of these names ring a bell. Jean |
