Member Since: February 2005 Posts: 0 Send Message	ISABELLA LIDDLE STUBBS AND WILLIAM THOMAS STUBBS. William married Mary jane Hall in 1881, they had Isabella Lidle Stubbs born 21/01/1891. That's as far back as I can go on that line at the moment abd woudl really appreciate some help. Isabella is my great grandmother. thanks Helen

	If you go to http://www.freebmd.org.uk you can search for the marriage of William Stubbs to Mary Hall in 1881 (it was in Auckland registration district). That will give you the information you need to order their marriage certificate at http://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificates/ That will give you their ages and their fathers' names, so that you can search for them in the censuses before 1881. If you knew the date of their marriage, perhaps you have the certificate already ...
