Alice Louisa Downes was a daughter of George William Downes and Charlotte Lynn, born in 1868 at Bright Hill, Guildford. She married Ernest Jupp, a Printer, and they lived at 14 North Place, Guildford, but Ernest died on the 2nd June 1899 aged 29. In 1896 she moved to 19 North Place, Guildford, then later, moved to 27 Craven Street, Melton Mowbray, Liecestershire and married Herbert Henry Willis on the 17th May 1910. He was a Railway Inspector, a Widower aged 36. (I believe he was a cousin) After her husbands death she returned to Bright Hill, Guildford in 1924, which was her father's house, and then in 1948 she moved to 9 Victoria Road, Sidcup, Kent (1948 - 1952) where her son Cyril Arthur Jupp lived at 6 Mayfield Villas, Cray Road, Footscray, Kent. Alice died on the 21st February 1952, at Queens Hospital, Sidcup, Kent, aged 84. As for Harriet who married Peter E. Jupp in the 1950's, I had no information on that, so did Cyril Jupp had any children and which was Peter who married Harriet ?? :-D :-D

Hello Trying to find more links to Alice Jupp (maiden name Downes) married to Ernest Jupp who died young. Born 1868, had a son called Cyril Jupp born 1898, living in Guildford, Surrey. Also, is there anyone out there called Harriet who was married to Peter E. Jupp probably during 1950s Thanks
