I am trying to trace the family which consisting of BROWN/BIGG/FILBY. My tree commences with Stephen Brown, born c.1839 in Buxted, Sussex. Stephen married Susan, who was born in 1840 in Marylebone, London. Susan had children Matilda Bigg, born 1864 in Stratford; George Bigg born 1865 in Stratford; Lydia Filby born 1868 in Stratford; Thomas Filby born 1873 in Stratford, and William Filby born 1879 in Stratford. Stephen and Susan then had two children, Phoebe born 1880 in Stratford and Stephen born 1881, also in Stratford. At the time of Phoebe´s birth, they were living in Chapel Street, Stratford, and then moved to Alley Mill Cottages, West Ham. If you recognize any of these names, I would be glad to hear from you. Thanks, Sue |
