I'm looking for John Carr (ropemaker) born around 1799 or 1800 in Ireland who migrated to England sometime in the early 1800s. He is my great great great grandfather. He had several children, one of who is William Carr, my great great grandfather who was also a ropemaker and migrated from Liverpool to West Ham, Essex (via Middlesex) in the late 1860s. I would like to know which part of Ireland John Carr originally came from - the 1851 census did not mention the county. Can anyone help? |
