Hi, I am looking for any information on RICHARD WILLIAMS born circa 1840, possibly in BRISTOL, who married ELIZABETH DENMAN and had 4 sons, Richard, (who moved away to run the Taff Valley Railway), Stephen, William (Bill), and my grandfather John (Jack), born 1874 in Bristol. I would be most grateful for any info. Jack's son Harold will be 90 next year and it would be nice if we could trace his grandfather. Regards, Helen Since posting this message I have discovered documents and many photos relating to the family of the Richard who moved to work on the Taff Valley Railway, PONTYPRIDD, including a family portrait from Feb 1919. No help in my search for his father, but if any descendants read this I would very much like to contact them, as they may wish to have the (original) documents and photos back. I have learnt much from them, but have no idea how they came to be in the possession of my father. Helen (25.08.2005) |
