I am trying to find any relatives of George Henry Carr, born 1858 in Gateshead. His parents started Carr's Sweet Factory in Oakwellgate, Gateshead but by 1919 when the factory was destroyed by fire it was being run by William Carr who I think was one of George's brothers. I know that William Carr also had a son called William who I beleive became a solicitor. I also know that the Carr family were Methodists and were responsible for the building of a Methodist Chapel somewhere in the region of Sunderland Road, Gateshead. This Chapel was often refered to as the Bullets (meaning sweets) Church as after Sunday School the children were all given 'bullet'
