Hi, I am also trying to trace a Joseph Beaumont who died about 1954 in Whitefield. My Grandmother Ethel Gertrude Beaumont was born In 1911, on the birth certificate it states he was married to Edith Fitton both from Prestwich. The stories are that he was at least 90 when he died. There was another sister Alice a few years older. Not sure if there is any connection but my Joseph Beaumont does seem rather old in 1911 to be having young children and I did wonder if there had been a previous marriage. Would be interested in your opinion.

Hi Im trying to find any information on JOSEPH BEAUMONT born 1857/1858. Manchester. He married Clara Hill in Liverpool in 1878. His Occ: Publican. He has 3 children William B:1879, Mary B: 1880 and Henry B: 1882 (all Liverpool). His father is also Joseph Occ: Commercial traveler. Im unable to trace back further as i can't find a birth cert for Joseph. Is he connected to your tree, if so contact me please, would love to hear from you. Julie updated info: I believe Joesphs mother was called Mary Gooch Born 1837 Liverpool although census records state she was born in Manchester, also theres a sister Clara born 1859 Manchester. do any of these names ring any bells... Im struggling to find proof of connection no birth, marriage certs found
