Trying to find any information on the following names Michael Alfred King born 1857 in Whitehaven in Cumberland. Possibily joined the army and moved to Northern Ireland to be stationed in Bessbrook. Married Margaret Edgar in Bessbrook on 30-01-1886 and he died in Belfast in 1949. His father was WILLIAM ATKIN KING and lived in Lowther Street in Whitehaven at the time of his birth. Other leads... Alfred Michael Radcliff King born in Heathall ( Heath Hall) in the lake district parents died and he was sent to boarding school and later joined the army. Other possible link is further back is WILLIAM KING who came from Scotland and was Archbishop of Dublin. Any leads no matter how small would be helpful. Regards Michael King |
