Find Ancestors

I am trying to find any relatives of my mother Elizabeth Betsy Smith born in Cheshire ? on 18/03/1944 she claims to have a twin brother Trevor and be 1 of 13 children (names not known) seperated as kids. I think my mother was fostered and grew up along with a Rex Ainsworth who i knew during my childhood as my uncle but he moved to france some years ago, its also possible that the surname of the foster mother was also Ainsworth. My mother married Norman Mills and after having my brother, sister and i moved to scotland in 1980 or there about. I think my search around liverpool/cheshire area is correct as i was born in cheshire 1978 also my dad was scouse and moved back to liverpool after he and my mum divorced where he died in 1995. Didn't think my family had much of a history until recently, and am now curious.It is possible that anyone searching for a Smith in or around cheshire in 1944 +/- 13 could be unawre of any connection if they have very limited information. If anyone recognizes any of the above or thinks there may be a link please contact me. Thanks.....Ian
