Trying to find Smith

On the 1901 census, I have found my G. Grandfather Arthur Smith, born 1860 in Richards Castle Shropshire. My G. Grandmother Lydia was born, 1852 in Northchurch. Up to 1901 they had 8 children. My Grandmother Voilet was the oldest. There were 3 more after 1901. No names. Violet born 1884 Litchmear born 1885 Daisy born 1887 Elsie born 1889 Evelyn born 1892 Sidney born 1894 Beatrice born 1897 Frances born 1898 All born in Wealdstone in Middlesex. I have a feeling that Arthur & Lydia's D.O.B my be wrong. I have also found on the 1861 census an Arthur Smith aged 12 from Richards Castle. His father was called Benjamin aged 39, from Lingen, Herefordshire. His mother was called Sarah aged 38, from Wigmore, Herefordshire. If this is my G.G Grand parents, could anyone help me to go back another generation. Thanks for looking. Sue K. |
