Trying to find Smith

I am tracing my family tree. I'm not having much luck with the Smiths as they were Romany Gypsies and are hard to trace due to lack of documentation. My Gt Grandfather was Henry Smith born c1850. My Grandmother was called Gentelia Patience born c1877 and I know she had a sister called Raine who settled in Kent, a brother called Nelson and another sister unsure about name but it may have been Julia, who was the licensee of a pub in Stepney, east London. My Grandmother was born in a caravan on Barnes Common. However the family eventually settled into a house in Stonhouse Street or Venn Street, off Clapham High Street, London. If anyone has any connections at all I would be delighted to hear from them. |
