I am trying to find out information about my Grandfather. His name is GEORGE MILLER WALKER from the Burnley area. I am not sure of D.O.B. or D.O.D. but I think he was born approx 1889 & died in his mid forties I believe, so could be around 1935 - 39. He married a Florence (Florrie) Lee & had 3 children, Beatrice, William & John (My Dad). John was born in 1926 & his father died when he was 12 or possibly earlier. Florrie lived until she was 92 & died around 1980/81. I have no further information as all of them passed away. The only other vague information was that some of my Grandparents relations moved to Canada & New Zealand, as my Grandma used to correspond with them for a number of years. I only have one old photo of my Grandad, but quite a few of the rest of the family. I hope somebody out there can be of help. Thankyou. DEREK WALKER |
