Hi Jennifer
I have only just started doing my family tree so not sure of the Malvern Hall connection, although I do remember my mother having a grandmother in the name of Emily. I will continue to do my tree in more depth and see if I can unearth something.

Kind regards

Jennifer

I am trying to trace my ggrandfather who appears on the 1881, 1891, and 1901 census, but not before 1881. He was then working at Malvern Hall, Naburn aged 24. Born in Woodlesford Essex around 1857. I cannot find a birth registration for him either. I believe he was married around 1881 in York to either Mary or Emily. She seems to have used both names. They had three sons and a daughter. My grandfather Ronald was the youngest. Does anybody know if Malvern Hall still exists.
