Looking for Scottish Cooks - descendants of James Cook (my ggg grandfather) b. abt 1826 - d. 25 Oct 1885. James married Mary McGregor abt 1850. They had 8 children. 1. Adam 2. James 3. Agnes b. abt 1851 in Beith, Ayr, Scot 4. William (my gg g'father) b 9 Jan 1854 Glasgow, d. 27 Mar 1922, Rosewood, Qld Aust 5. George b 4 Aug 1856 Govan, Lanark 6. Hannah b. 17 Nov 1860 Inkerman, Renfrew m. William Ballantyne abt 1881 7. Elizabeth Mathieson b. 21 Jan 1863 Inkerman. William Cook married Margaret Ann Holden McNair on 30 Dec 1874 Inkerman, Renfrew & had 5 children. 1. Janet b. 12 Sep 1874 2. Rachel Blair b. 1876 3. Mary McGregor b. 26 Jan 1878 4.
