HE WAS BORN HOSPITAL STREET, TAMWORH, HE WAS ADOPTED AFTER HE WAS BORN.HE WAS BORN IN 1916 HIS BIRTHDAY WAS 25TH AUGUST. HE LATER MARRIED IN 1946 TO LUCY MARRION SMITH (BRITTAN) AND HAD 2 DAUGHTERS CALLED DOREEN AND JANET SMITH. PLEASE IF ANYONE KNOWS OF MY GRANDAD PLEASE MESSAGE ME I WOULD BE VERY GREATFUL
