I am trying to find Sophia Ellen Chapman's family. Sophia was born abt 1830 in Ramsgate kent, she married John Richard Philpott who was born in Norway in 1829 (british subject). Date of marriage unknown but they had 14 children between 1851 and 1875. One of their children Elizabeth Hannah married my gt grandfather John Drayson and they lived at 69 boundary rd Ramsgate until they both died in 1915. Their son John Richard Drayson contined to live at the same address with his wife Beartric Drewe and daughter Phylis Joan Drayson who then went on to live in the same house with her husband William Sharpin until 1971.
