Davies , Glyn Ceiriog & Llangollen . I have been able to trace my ancestors back to 1808 ; but have drawn a blank for the period between 1901 (census) & 1913 when my grandfather ,Parry(born Llangollen 1886 , arrived in South Africa), alledgedly from Ireland . The family were largely involved in the flannel mills in both towns (above) .For most of their lives they lived in Dee Mill Place in Llangollen. They were Samuel (1812) & Catherine (1808). Sons, Evan ,John , Edward ; Grandsons John Ellis, Samuel, Caradog, Parry- only Parry went to S.Africa ; can you help me with the rest ? |
