Member Since: October 2003 Posts: 0 Send Message	Doreen Joyce Hughes nee Smith - A friend of mine is trying to find her birth mother who was born Doreen Joyce Smith in Wales in about 1932. Doreen married Derrek Hughes (born Wales about 1931) in St Asaph N, Wales in 1950. He was in the army. They had six children: Paul D born about 1951 in Pembrokeshire, Margaret born about 1953, a child who did not survive, Denise born about 1956, another daughter born about 1957, and finally Georgina, who was born in 1958 and was given up for adoption. Georgina, now Elaine, is keen to find any of her relatives, partly to find out about her medical background but more importantly she would like her mother to know that she did the right thing and that Elaine understands her reasons. If you can help, Elaine would be very grateful and she assures you that she will be sensitive to her birth family's wishes.
