Trying to find Edwards

Thomas

Thomas Report 20 Jun 2005 10:27

I am looking for information about Thomas Edwards (born late 1830s/early '40s) in West Ham, London. He married Julia Pearse Lediard (born London, Middlesex 1840-ish). They are my great great grandparents. They moved to Plymouth in the 1850s to earl 60s. Thomas Edwards is described as an 'excavator' on his eldest daughter's birth certificate. Their daughters are Helen Pearce Edwards (b. 1863) and Norah Edwards (b. 1870, d.1904). The daughters married James John Henry Rogers (b.1861) and Ernest Cadogan respectively. Both daughters were born in Plymouth. Thomas Edwards died sometime between 1871 and 1881 when Julia is described as a widow on the census. Any information about Thomas, Julia, their daughters or any family ties would be of interest.
