Wish to find some cousins of my mother. Her uncle was Tommy Edwards (known as 'Tommy Tinks'), born around 1905 (I think). He played 'youth' football for Wales, before signing for Linfield in Ireland. There he met his wife, EMMA (maiden name unknown to me). Tommy died in 1977 (just after I joined the Royal Navy). Emma is still alive, I believe, and lives just off Castlereagh Road, Belfast. My mother's name is GWENFRON THOMAS (née Edwards), and Tommy was her uncle. Her father's name was David Edwards, and she had a brother called David Ellis Edwars and a sister called Margaret Edwards. She has a cousin called Pam Nolan (née Jones), who's mother, Margaret, was also a sister to Tommy. I believe my mother has cousins in Belfast, and if any of them are members of Genes Reunited, I'd appreciate if they'd get in touch with me. |
