My great great grandfather Henry GODFREY left some money in will to his niece, Harriett WILSON. She was married to John William JEFFRIES at Westbury, Tasmania. They moved to Melbourne and they had a daughter, Harriett Minnie who was born in 1863. They migrated to Auckland in 1864. They have some children who were born in Auckland. One of them was Thomas Francis JEFFRIES. Harriett WILSON was born in Middlesex around 1837. Her father was John WILSON and her mother was unknown where I have her death certificate. I think her mothers surname could be GODFREY or CLARKE from Henrys wife. Another WILSON was George William was married to Annie. They were buried with Albert and Martha Jeffries at Purewa cemetery. George was born around 1866 in Auckland. His parents were James and Annie WILSON. I think James was a brother of Harriett. Anyone have any further information? Please contact me. Thanks, Steven from Melbourne. |
